Ordination

It seems worth mentioning that the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis has ordained seven, count them, seven new transitional deacons. I made my way back to the Twin Cities to join in this celebration, and it was beautiful. Bishops Pates celebrated the Mass and ordained the men, while Archbishop Neinstedt participated in choro. Many priests of the Archdiocese were present, and from my place in the sanctuary (I was one of the servers) it seemed that the Basilica was full.

Several more men are yet to be ordained in their own dioceses as the spring progresses. We join with the whole Chuirch in thanking God for the gift of their vocations.

(I don't have a picture. Maybe Stephen can add one for me.)
