Quote of the Day

As we were recording and preparing for another post by our own Mr. Lit[erature], he and Dcn. Tyler were arguing. At one point, Mr. Lit (blogger Matthew) leveled at the Deacon: "Go fall into one of your impressionist paintings!"

I believe it was Chesterton who felt that impressionism suggests there's no bottom to the universe. Isn't there something at least a little freaky about trying to paint with such emphasis only what can be seen?

I sometimes wonder if the C-source is overquoted.

Chesterton is so darn quotable though.

Maybe it's just the glaring absence of other quotes.

The absence of quotes from others would yet indicate that Chesterton (or blogger Matthew--I'm not sure which is supposed to be the "C-source") is still one of the few worth quoting.
